We run an online store and purchased some of those black bits. Although the length of the bit was ok, the inner nubs were malformed and stripped each time you tried to open a cart that had tough screws in it. One cart had soda spilled on it and when turning the black bit on it, it just stripped the bit right out. Back to the drawing board - we ordered, some of these bits from here which are advertised to - Longer reach gamebit for deeper screw channels like Virtual Boy consoles. Longer professional gamebits. The size difference is noticeable, actually the bit itself is noticeable. It is made from stainless steel, the inner nubs are perfectly centered to grip the screw head, and the diameter is small enough to actually fit in the Virtual Boy screw hole. The black one is a little wider, a little force is needed to get into the hole or use a drill bit first. So far we have tested it on about 100 carts and cartridges, it seems to fit most nintendo consoles and gamecube. Push down hard when opening soda spilled carts and consoles and these will last longer. Not a bad buy in my opinion.
