I found it very hard trying to change the channels. I tried a few remote controls from wal-mart and the 99 cent store, but they didn't control all the functions of the mediatech 2200. This one finally arrived in the mail and I tested it. It worked great right of the box with minimal directions read on my part. I also picked up an additional converter box. The converter box that I bought here works great right of the box and it included the remote and audio visual cables. All shipping was fast.
