It stopped working. So I purchased a second Jura, again it stopped working at about 2.5 years. Was shopping for a espresso maker when I read a blog about Repairing a Jura Nespresso Machine. It turns out I had the same problem as something I read. There is a thermal temperature sensor screwed into the heating element. It was defective and not detecting the right temperature. After replacing them I put the Jura back together and it worked. I saved allot of money $$$$. It was that easy. I fished the other Jura out of storage and I am hoping it will have the same problem. So I can fix it quickly. Thank you for the great tool set with the right Oval screwdriver - without it this repair would not be possible. Looking for the reason of powering off when coffee machine start the pump. First I checked after I opened my machine the Pan Head Oval Drive Screwdriver is functionality of the pump by connecting it directly to the mains; Then I loosened the in and out of the heater and checked if the flow was not disturbed. I read somewhere that is normally caused by insufficient descaling. Testing the temperature sensor by touch was very hot the finger. That determined the blinking led should change to steady. Replaced the on-off switch which apparently was the culprit. It was at a high pressure connector - replace the o ring on the outside side the connector - that's where the leak was. I used the oval size to get into the machine and then I used it to close it up. The troubleshooting section in the manual said I need to look for component failure. I couldn't check the components I didn't even have the key to open the machine. That's when I found you guys. After opening my espresso machine I found a few bad capacitors. After replacing them my coffee machine reset. I'm not done but I should be out of the woods when I close it up. Thanks.
