My broken Nespresso C50 had no power and a mildew smell. After I disassembled the machine by using the bit to remove the oval screws, i could see where a small leak, suspected from the smell - had corroded coffee into the printed circuit board. the internal pressure would cause the nespresso to leak coffee into the used capsule bin. the smelly drip rolled down the LED through button wires and caused a bunch of corrosion on solder joints in the PCB. I was able to repair my Nespresso C50 machine . operation of the nespresso is normal once more.
