Problems with internationally tracking - Not Received or Lost

Recently shipped packages and international addressed packages using USPS delivery company might not provide consistent or accurate information while in transit to the delivery destination. When a package does not arrive by the estimated delivery time frame, wait a few more days. Usually the package will arrive on or shortly after the estimated time frame.
When a package is shipped internationally, it reaches its destination country customs facility. The package may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond the original delivery estimates. Some international delivery companies will deliver the package to your local post office for final delivery while others will deliver directly to the shipping/delivery address on your order.
When a package is long overdue or if you suspect the international package is lost in the mail, contact your local post office and your local customs office and request that a parcel tracer action be initiated to locate the package. Customs will normally provide a detention notice with a number to aid in locating your package. Normally the local post office will work with your customs office to locate the package.
Write to the United States Postal Inspection Service when you have not receive the package and it's been over 2 (two) months. Fill out this form and request an investigation. Your package should be located within 72 hours after your request.
