Tamper-Proof Bolt Patterns on Medium green, Pale light green, Beige, or Forest green MATV Pedestals require security star key patterns such as ZA-2497. Newelectronx manufactures and provides these security star pattern lock wrenches.
The tamper proof star lock tools will work with spring-loaded lock installed in the pedestal top that automatically engages a base catch installed in the pedestal base. Most tools required for lock activation must have a specific computerize star key pattern to match it. Simply align the security pedestal tool over the base of the slam lock. The slam hook is opened by a 1/4 turn rotation of the tamper-proof bolt with the slam key. The top of the pedestal cabinet enclosure drops onto the base and automatically engages the lock when finished with your troubleshooting. Available patterns are shown on our website. the offset of the pattern 85 pedestal key is hard to find and obtain for less than a few hundred bucks. the exquisite design and ingenuity that went into manufacturing of the slam lock key the best i have seen in the last 15 yrs.
